I have for years compared my abilities to others. I never seemed to measure up to the standards or think I could do what others were doing. This way of thinking held me back for years and controlled my outlook on my life and my abilities and cast a dark cloud.
When I deceided to homeschool I had to confront the lies about myself. I found that by identifying the lies I was thinking about and finding the positive my attitude began to change and I discovered a confidence I had been searching for. I am finding that my outlook on life is changing to a more positive one. I see others in a different light as well. For me this is a whole new path that I have never walked before. For me homeschool is a opportunity to move out of my comfort zone and experience and see life on a whole new level.
